The Energy Project Marketplace

Structured, investor-ready energy project concepts — grounded in African policy frameworks, real market conditions, and implementation pathways.

Our Marketplace

Across sub-Saharan Africa, national energy strategies identify the need for hundreds of mini-grids, clean cooking enterprises, productive-use energy systems, and blended finance facilities. Most of those projects are never developed.

The gap is not financing. It is the absence of structured, contextualised, investor-ready project concepts that developers, funds, and programme officers can take forward. The Ayandile Project Marketplace closes that gap.

How the Marketplace Works

Every project is available at one or more of four development tiers. You choose the level of detail you need — and can upgrade incrementally, paying only the difference.

Tier 1 — Concept Snapshot

An early-stage project overview: problem statement, target geography, sector context, and funding instrument fit. Typically 2–3 pages. Ideal for initial screening and opportunity assessment. Fixed fee per project · Immediate download · No signature required

Tier 3 — Bankable Project Package

The full development package: business plan, financial model, investor teaser, and pitch deck. Delivered as a structured archive. Designed for presentation to institutional investors, DFIs, and commercial lenders. Higher percentage of project value · IP agreement required · Upgradeable from Tier 2

Tier 2 — Concept Note

A fully developed concept note including theory of change, implementation pathway, stakeholder map, and preliminary financial outline. Typically 8–15 pages. Suitable for grant applications, programme design, and early investor conversations. Percentage of estimated project value · NDA recommended · Upgradeable from Tier 1

Tier 4 — Equity Partnership

Ayandile waives the Tier 3 fee and converts it into a minority equity stake upon project implementation. For developers ready to implement with Ayandile as a committed co-investor. Equity term sheet required · Selective entry · Ongoing advisory support included
